I'm David Rimmer, a Product Designer who creates physical online experiences to connect people who are far apart. Because in a world that is becoming more and more virtual, I believe we need connection that is real and physical.

I've always loved putting on games and events for my friends and family that create space for fun and shared memories. I also love creating physical products that connect people to the joys of the REAL world.

During covid, I remember getting bored pretty quick with all the Zoom events - sitting in one place, flicking between different screens and browsers and forcing a smile when on camera. It was all digital, nothing felt real and there was nothing to interact with... #zoomfatigue

Last year, I had a thought:

"What if I made an online experience that turns people's own houses into escape rooms using real, physical objects?"

Thus, Long Distance Experiences was born! I now run online escape rooms for long distance friends, family and couples, creating online experiences that people actually enjoy.
